Chief Executive Officer

Emma Woolley is Chief Executive Officer of Talbot Underwriting.

She was previously AIG’s Global Head of Marine, overseeing the largest Marine portfolio in the world, responsible for all of AIG’s international Marine business and underwriting activity.

Emma joined in 2022 from Lancashire Group, a FTSE 250 Insurer, where she served as CEO of its Lloyd’s business and as a member of the Group Executive Committee.

A seasoned executive with close to 30 years insurance experience, Emma has held senior leadership roles across underwriting, compliance, risk, governance, operations and broking at firms including Swiss Re, Canopius and BMS.

She has also served on multiple industry boards and market bodies including the Lloyd’s Market Association, as a Vice President of the Insurance Institute of London and on several Lloyd’s of London council committees.
