Independent Non-Executive Director

Paola Bergamaschi was appointed as non-executive director at Talbot Underwriting Ltd in October 2025.

Paola has 30 years’ experience in capital markets in the City of London. She covered senior management positions at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and State Street covering different geographies, with P&L responsibility.  Since 2014 Paola has developed a portfolio of non-executive positions both on listed companies and private boards in the U.S. and in Europe.

She is currently on the board of Unicredit Group and Talbot Underwriting and participates on all of Talbot’s board committees. Paola is also a member of the Advisory Board of Quantexa, one of the fastest growth technology companies in Europe.

She graduated summa cum laude from Bocconi University in Milan where she studied Economics and took extended specialization courses in Economics and Finance at the NYU, New York.
